bourbon pecan french toast


Firm Italian, challah or English muffin bread sliced

1 tablespoon bourbon

pinch of Kosher salt

1.5 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon pure vanilla

3 eggs beaten

chopped pecans

raw sugar

1 cup milk


  • Mix ingredients
  • Heat and grease griddle with oil
  • Submerge bread into egg mixture
  • Place bread on skillet, sprinkle raw sugar on each piece of bread
  • cook on each side until brown
  • Serve with chopped pecans
