individual apple pies with white cheddar


1 Granny Smith apples, peeled and cubed

1/4 cup frozen no sugar added apple juice

1teaspoon cinnamon


1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup pecan chips

sharp white cheddar cheese

refrigerated rolled pie dough

  • Mix apples with apple juice, 1.5 teaspoons corn starch and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Mix brown sugar, nuts and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Preheat oven to 450
  • If your cupcake tin is not non stick, grease it lightly
  • Mold pie dough to the cupcake tin, up around the sides too.
  • fill each cup with apple mixture, and then spoon in the brown sugar mixture
  • Place dough on top to cover
  • Bake for 10 minutes, after ten minutes add a piece of thin cheese to cover the top
  • Bake for 5 more minutes
