pan fried pork chops with applesauce


pork chops

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon canola oil

1 small bottle applesauce


1 green pepper


1/2 large onion

  • Dredge pork chops in flour
  • Chop onions & green pepper
  • Heat large skillet to medium to medium high
  • Melt 2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • Fry pork until brown
  • Add green pepper and onion chunks, brown slightly
  • Add entire bottle of applesauce, with 1 teaspoon cinnamon or more to taste & salt
  • Simmer for an hour on low

Serve with broiled potatoes and brussel sprouts
