pork marsala


boneless pork chops


2 tablespoons olive oil

1 garlic clove

1/4 onion

salt & pepper

3/4 cup Marsala wine

1/4 teaspoon dried basil

  • Dredge pork chops in flour
  • Chop onion into chunks
  • Mince garlic
  • Heat oil in pan on medium-high
  • Add onion and garlic to pan, saute 1 minute
  • Add pork and fry until brown, turn down heat to medium to medium low
  • Add Marsala wine, salt & pepper (to taste) and 1/4 teaspoon basil
  • Simmer on low for 30 minutes or until done

Serve with pasta or Jackie o’s mashed potato variations and broccoli
