brussels sprouts with lemon and pine nuts


2 tablespoons olive oil

1 fresh bunch of brussels sprouts

1 lemon

Kosher salt

fresh ground pepper

pine nuts


  • chop brussels sprouts into halves
  • add olive oil to skillet
  • place brussels face down in pan on medium-high and cook for 4-5 minutes
  • add zest of one lemon and flip them over- and add the juice of 3/4 of a lemon
  • add pine nuts and Kosher salt and pepper to taste
  • cook 2-3 more minutes
