Ingredients:
pork chops
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 small bottle applesauce
flour
1 green pepper
cinnamon
1/2 large onion
- Dredge pork chops in flour
- Chop onions & green pepper
- Heat large skillet to medium to medium high
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon canola oil
- Sear on both sides
- Add green pepper and onion chunks, brown slightly
- Add entire bottle of applesauce, with 1 teaspoon cinnamon or more to taste & salt
- Simmer for an hour on low
Serve with broiled potatoes and brussel sprouts
