skillet salmon with toasted sesame seeds

Ingredients:

2 pieces wild caught salmon (sockeye preferred)

2 tablespoons brown sugar

canola oil

1 teaspoon minced ginger

toasted sesame seeds

1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce

  • Add oil to cast iron skillet, heat pan
  • Mix brown sugar, soy sauce and ginger
  • Add salmon to pan and pour over the sauce
  • Cook on medium for 3 minutes, flip and cook 3-4 more minutes
  • Add toasted sesame seeds

Serve over an arugula salad and fresh corn.
