Serve this when your dinner is on the heavier side.
spring mix lettuce or baby romaine mix
escarole lettuce
sliced Bartlett pears
chopped pecans or sliced almonds
dried cranberries
blue cheese crumbles or Pamesan cheese
good balsamic vinegar
light olive oil or canola oil
Mix ingredients and add to plates. Mix 3 parts oil to 1 part vinegar. add salt and pepper. Mix well and add to salads.
